IT ALL STARTED WITH AN IDEA
Launched by founder and renowned artist John Paul Segovia in 2021 as a local festival, Hot Rods & High Heels remains an innovator in festival culture over the last 5 years later. Hot Rods & High Heels was the first festival to bring together artists from a wide range of musical genres on one bill, it was also the first in Houston to offer Live Bands, Street Market, a Beauty Pageant and show-casing some of the Hottest Cars in Texas, the first to introduce a second stage, the first to blend art and activism, the first to put electronic music artists on the main stage, the first to create family friendly programming, the first to make its home in an urban city center.
Hot Rods & High Heels has grown into an annual world-class festival in Houston (2022). Hot Rods & High Heels is one of the premier music destinations for music fans in the great state of Texas.
Hot Rods & High Heels is observing its 5th anniversary in 2026, celebrating its enduring success as a powerhouse global festival brand.

Hot Rods & High Heels contribution to the City of Houston leads all festivals in the region. While the festival takes place in the month of March every year, organizers strive to deliver meaningful engagement programs and create positive impacts in the city year-round. PHILANTHROPIC PARTNERSHIPS
Hot Rods & High Heels is partnering with the Segovia Foundation and local community leaders to expand access to higher learning opportunities for students interested in digital marketing, photography, and videography.
Mission One USA is spearheading this initiative by connecting high school students from lower-income communities with hands-on internship opportunities at Segovia Studios, LLC. Together, we aim
to empower young talent with real-world skills, helping them rise, build confidence, and create positive pathways for their future.
